Diversity Policy

PH Legal has an Equal Opportunities Policy Statement available to all candidates, clients and employees; the Policy is as follows:

PH Legal is committed to being an equal opportunities employer and the creation of an entirely non-discriminatory working environment.  The aim of our policy is to ensure that all applicants and employees are treated on a fair basis which does not discriminate on the grounds of:-

  • race, colour, nationality, ethnic origins or community background
  • marital or family status
  • religious or political beliefs and affiliations
  • disability
  • age
  • gender
  • sexual orientation
  • Any other unlawful criterion or circumstance

All employment decisions will be made in a non-discriminatory manner.  This includes personnel actions and decisions relating to recruitment and selection; training and development; transfer and promotions; compensation and benefits, and severance.  Furthermore, we aim to maintain a working environment free from sexual and racial harassment and intimidation.

This Policy applies to all our applicants and employees.  Unfair discrimination in any form will not be tolerated by us.  Offensive behaviour with regard to disability will also not be tolerated.

The company also recognises that unlawful discrimination can take different forms – direct, indirect, victimisation or the failure to make reasonable adjustments to employment arrangements or premises.

Both in its internal relationships and in its external client work, PH Legal strives to ensure that all its staff act in a fair and reasonable manner, focusing solely on a person's ability to do a job and their skills and attributes. We are committed to do all we can in the areas of equal opportunities and diversity and to operate with honesty, integrity and consideration.

All members of our staff have a responsibility to adhere to both the spirit and principals of the policy. Any case of unlawful discrimination will be treated very seriously.
